Yours alone
A shared VPN puts you behind the same address as thousands of strangers, and their behaviour decides which sites block you. Here the address is yours, the key is generated for your server, and there is nobody else to share either with.
Not a seat on a shared VPN: a server with your own address and your own key, and nobody else on it. Traffic looks like ordinary HTTPS to a well-known site, so it keeps working on networks that block VPNs. Paste the link your server prints into the Renode VPN app for Windows and connect.

How tunnels like playit.gg, frp and WireGuard on a VPS put a home game server online behind CGNAT, what they cost in latency and real player IPs, and when to use one.

Private VPN Servers
A private VPN server that is yours alone: your own address, your own key, nobody else on it. Traffic is wrapped as ordinary HTTPS to a well-known site, so it works on networks that block VPNs. Download the Renode VPN app for Windows, paste the link your server prints, and connect. Phones and Macs use any VLESS client (v2rayNG, Hiddify, Streisand, Shadowrocket) with the same link.

A shared VPN puts you behind the same address as thousands of strangers, and their behaviour decides which sites block you. Here the address is yours, the key is generated for your server, and there is nobody else to share either with.
The server runs Xray with VLESS and Reality, which wraps the tunnel so it reads as a normal HTTPS connection to a well-known site. Networks that block VPN protocols by their shape have nothing to recognise.
The Renode VPN app for Windows takes the link your server prints and connects. Phones and Macs use any VLESS client - v2rayNG, Hiddify, Streisand or Shadowrocket - with the same link.
There is no traffic cap. The tiers differ in CPU, which is what a busy tunnel actually uses: one or two devices on the smallest, a household or an office on the larger ones.
No. The plans are sized by how many devices use the server at once, not by how much they download.
Windows through the Renode VPN app, and phones and Macs through any VLESS client such as v2rayNG, Hiddify, Streisand or Shadowrocket, using the link your server prints.
No. The server, its address and its key are yours; nobody else is added to it.
