RE:NODE

Billing on RE:NODE: payments, renewals, trials, crypto and bundles

How paying for a RE:NODE server works: payment methods and invoices, longer terms, renewal invoices, plan changes and refunds, free trials, paying with crypto, bundles and loyalty pricing.

All docs pages

The reference for how money moves on RE:NODE. Prices are per month in USD; the site also shows EUR and GEL, converted, and the panel shows lari at the National Bank of Georgia rate, marked approximate. The amount that will actually be charged is always the one shown at checkout.

Paying#

  • Methods - PayPal, card, wallet balance, bank transfer and crypto. Every payment produces an invoice you can download or print.
  • Terms - 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. The longer terms are cheaper per month.
  • Delivery - game, app, web and database servers are created when payment clears, usually inside a minute. A VDS is prepared by hand, within 24 hours.

Renewals#

  • A renewal invoice is raised and emailed 7 days before the service expires, and again on the day.
  • Paying it settles that same invoice; a second one is not raised.
  • Renew from the panel with any payment method, including wallet balance.

Changing plan and refunds#

  • Upgrading or downgrading changes the limits on the server you already have. Nothing is rebuilt: files, worlds and databases stay where they are.
  • There is no automatic refund button. Open a ticket from the panel; if a server cannot do what it was sold to do, we sort it out, including a refund.

Free trials#

Start free on the landing page, or Try free on a plan in the panel, starts a trial without a card.

  • One per account, for ever. It is checked against the account and the email address (+tags stripped, Gmail dots ignored), and a deleted account still counts. A verified email is required.
  • Which plans - the smallest tier of a line, and only plans the panel builds automatically. There are no trials of VDS or S3 storage.
  • Day trial - runs 24 hours, then the server is paused.
  • Month trial - 30 days in total, but the server pauses every 24 hours. Press Renew to bring it back for another day; it works once the server is paused, or in the last 2 hours before.

When a trial ends:

  1. You get an email 2 hours before the end.
  2. The server is kept suspended, with its files, for 7 days. A month trial left paused for 7 days without a renew goes to this hold early.
  3. You get another email 24 hours before deletion, then the server is deleted.

Paying through any normal renewal turns the trial into a paid term on the same server, with the same files.

Limits during a trial: no renode.space subdomain, and a trial that uses 90% of its CPU for ten minutes is stopped and flagged to staff. When too many trials are running at once, a new one can be refused with "no room right now".

Paying with crypto#

Pay with crypto appears in the panel's order and renewal dialogs and in the site's order popup. Payment goes through NOWPayments' hosted invoice page: USDT, BTC, ETH, LTC and more.

  • You are charged exactly the plan's price.
  • Some coins have minimums - USDT about $11, BTC about $20. For small amounts, pick LTC, TRX or ETH.
  • Confirmation takes 10 to 60 minutes depending on the network. The server is created automatically once the payment confirms.
  • Crypto can also top up the wallet balance.
  • An underpayment ("partially paid") or a second send to the same address is not credited automatically. Staff review it; open a ticket.
  • Bundles and VDS orders cannot be paid in crypto yet.

Bundles#

A bundle is two or three plans - an app server with its database and cache - bought in one checkout on the panel shop's Bundles tab, at a discount. See Bundles for what is on offer.

  • One invoice and one renewal date for the whole set.
  • A server in a bundle cannot be renewed or upgraded on its own.
  • Cancelling one server cancels the bundle.
  • Reward credit and crypto cannot pay for a bundle.
  • The site's order popup does not take bundles; the buy button links to the panel shop.

Loyalty pricing#

Loyalty pricing is not on for every service. Services are enrolled by staff, and if yours is not enrolled the panel shows nothing about it. Where a service is enrolled:

  • Each month renewed without a gap takes 2% more off, up to 20% at month 11. The first month is full price.
  • It stacks with the 3, 6 and 12-month term discount, but the two together never pass 35%.
  • It applies to subscriptions, VDS orders and bundles.
  • Paying late: 7 days' grace with nothing lost. Past that, a freeze - available once every 12 months - holds your stage for a month. Still unpaid, the discount steps back 3 months rather than to zero.
  • Cancelling resets it. Changing plan keeps it.

The current stage shows on the renewal quote as a line of its own.
